Designing spaces that connect people
We are a social design studio with a mission: to create meaningful connections in a world that moves faster, sees less clearly, and feels increasingly divided.
With a focus on interaction, playfulness and social relevance, we design spaces and objects that invite connection, spark wonder, and encourage reflection. Each design is a carefully composed response to a context or a story that deserves to be heard.
Our work moves between aesthetics and empathy. We design for indoor and outdoor environments, public and private spaces, with an inclusive mindset and attention to human diversity in all its forms. Our designs also offer moments of calm and recognition, even in the face of mental or physical challenges, as a subtle invitation to reconnect with oneself.
As a studio, we believe in the power of design as a social instrument. We build bridges between people and worlds, cultures and generations and head and heart.
As a Dutch spatial designer, interior architect and creative artist, I had the honor of receiving several awards during and after my graduation in 2022. This recognition gave me the confidence and momentum to establish this social design studio, Live & Connect.
Driven by a deep desire to question our needs in society and as individuals, my work focuses on translating these insights into creative and meaningful designs. Design pieces that capture attention with their aesthetics and linger in the memory through their intention.
